Outrigging is an ever growing sport in Australia. The NSW Zone encourages the development of new clubs within our zone and are happy to provide assistance in setting up new clubs.

The AOCRA Inc. website provides a good overview of the sport and a checklist of items you need to consider when setting up a new club under "Starting a Club".

A qualified Outrigger Coach is an important element to the development of a new club. Safety of our members is our primary concern in outrigger paddling. Please take the time to speak to members of our committee, other outrigger clubs or someone from the national outrigger body, AOCRA Inc., before you begin to set up your club.
